Tender nettle shoots are traditionally picked in the spring to enjoy gently wilted as spring greens or in a soup: they are rich in vitamins and minerals, especially iron, calcium and magnesium. They are supposedly a natural antihistamine too: paired with all the digestive and antioxidant benefits of mint, this mix is delicious washed and added to boiling water to provide the best detoxing tea.
